Behaviour Assessments
Our Behaviour Assessments are conducted by Psychologists with expertise in behaviour analysis and supporting teachers and families.
One primary target behaviour is addressed over a 3-6 month period.
Recommendations can be made to support funding at school such as DIP funding and NCCD funding.
Recommendations can be made about the need for ongoing BSP in the client’s NDIS plan.They consist of:
Interviews
Observations
Behaviour analysis tools and data.
Psychological assessment tools.
Functionally Equivalent Replacement Behaviours (FERBS).
Customised support visuals for clients, teachers and parents
Report containing recommendations (3-6 pages).
Recommendations for restrictive practices are not included in reports and advice.

Cognitive Assessments
We offer cognitive assessments (IQ Testing) that identify strengths and weaknesses. This testing can investigate giftedness as well as low functioning consistent with an intellectual disability. Cognitive assessments can also be used to determine the presence of a specific learning disorder such as dyslexia.
A cognitive assessment typically involves:
An initial parent consultation session to gather developmental history (50 minutes)
Up to 2 hours of psychological testing (1-2 sessions) using standardised cognitive assessments (IQ tests) such as the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V & WAIS-IV.
A comprehensive assessment report
1 x 50 minute feedback session to discuss findings and recommendations

ADHD Assessment
Our Psychologists can assess and diagnose ADHD based on interviews, observations and standardised questionnaires.
An ADHD assessment typically involves:
An initial parent consultation session to gather developmental history (50 minutes)
Observation of the child or adolescent
Completion of an IQ (Cognitive) Assessment to understand intellectual capacity and rule out any other disorders
Completion of standardized questionnaires that investigate behaviour, social abilities and executive functioning.

Vocational & Career Assessments
For adolescents in the later stages of their schooling, completing a vocational assessment can help guide them with recommendations about pathways of study and career choices. NDIS participants may also consider this assessment to guide them in leisure and recreational choices that enhance community and social participation

An initial consultation session to gather important information (50 minutes)
Completion of standardized questionnaires that investigate personality, strengths, interests, talents, desired occupations and current abilities
A comprehensive report with personalised recommendations about study and career pathways.

ASD Assessments
Our Psychologists can assess and diagnose ASD based on interviews, observations and standardised questionnaires.
An ASD assessment typically involves:
An initial parent consultation session to gather developmental history (50 minutes)
Completion of an IQ (Cognitive) Assessment to understand intellectual capacity and rule out any other disorders
Completion of the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-Second Edition) standardised assessment.
Completion of standardised questionnaires that investigate behaviour, social abilities and executive functioning.

Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
We offer psychoeducational assessments. These include a cognitive assessment (IQ Testing) that identifies intellectual strengths and weaknesses. This testing can investigate giftedness as well as low functioning consistent with an intellectual disability. A psychoeducational assessment also includes an achievement test that identifies academic strengths and weaknesses. Psychoeducational assessments can be used to determine the presence of a specific learning disorder such as dyslexia.

An initial parent consultation session to gather developmental history (50 minutes)
Up to 2 hours of psychological testing (1-2 sessions) using standardised cognitive assessments (IQ tests) such as the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V & WAIS-IV.
Up to 2 hours of psychological testing (1-2 sessions) using standardised achievement assessments such as the WIAT-4.
Administration of additional questionnaires to investigate other factors that can influence learning
A comprehensive assessment report
