Susan Hoffman

Provisional Psychologist

Susan has dedicated her career to helping children and teenagers grow and develop. She worked as a teacher and Inclusion Leader for 15 years in schools and kindergartens before beginning postgraduate studies in psychology. She focuses on building safe and supportive relationships with young people and their caregivers to understand the skills and strategies they need to succeed at home, school, and the community.

She feels each relationship is unique and encourages growth through playful exploration and genuine interaction. She uses different therapy approaches tailored to each young person's strengths, empowering them to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and actions as they grow.

Outside of her clinical work, she is undertaking a PhD to better understand how we can support students' emotional regulation through psychological intervention.

Susan is available for counselling, assessment and school-based consultancy services.
