 As a guide, the estimated wait times for our practitioners is below:

  • Jessica has limited availability.

  • Charlotte has some availability for assessments in September and October.

  • Kylie has limited availability.

  • Natasha has some availability for assessments in September and October.

  • Assessment referrals are often a less significant wait time than intervention as the service period is shorter.

  • Ari has limited availability for the remainder of 2024

  • Shannon has the capacity to take some new intervention and assessment referrals to start in October

  • Jesse's only taking new referrals that are seeking parent-only sessions via telehealth.

 

We appreciate that it can be very difficult when you don't have a clear indication of when support will be available. In the interim, self-directed online Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy courses have been proven to be an effective way of improving mild to moderate mental health problems. Courses for adolescents and children include THIS WAY UP and The BRAVE Program.

 

The VIC government currently has an initiative running in which families can access the evidence-based Triple P Program online for free for the next 12 months. The Child and Teen programs are aimed at developing resilient kids in the midst of challenging behaviours and anxiety at home.
